Policy of using the Facility

BCFI welcomes the opportunity to serve the members of our community. We are committed to providing the best possible service to those who wish to use our facility.   Upon approval of the submitted facilities request form, applicants will receive the following contract for services.

Building Regulations

• Persons who schedule an event at BFCI agree to abide by the following rules of conduct for the facility:  

• BCFI closes by 10:00 p.m. each evening.   All activities most be concluded by 9:30 p.m.   Any exceptions must be approved at time of scheduling.

•   All rooms must be vacated on time, as specified in contract (BCFI reserves the right to charge for any extensions beyond the point of service).

• All participants must comply with the direction of the facility management while on the premises.

• Approval of any decoration materials must be obtained prior to time of engagement. BCFI Staff will direct you on proper areas where material may be showcased.

• No smoking, alcoholic beverages or inappropriate language is permitted on the premises.

• Persons entering this agreement will be financially responsible for any damages to the facility and property (inside and outside) resulting from activities during the event.

Liability

• BCFI cannot assume responsibility for any loss of, or damage to merchandise or articles left prior to, during to, or after an event.

• BCFI reserves the right to refuse rental of our facility by decision of the Executive Director.
  

Room Rates and Rental Fees

• Room rates and rental fees are based upon your group's total program.   Revisions to group counts, times, dates, etc. may result in revisions to room rates and rental fees.

• Prices vary for facility rental based on space and time necessary per organization.

Payment

• A deposit of at least 10% of the total rental fee is due at the time of the submission of the rental request.

• We ask that payment be received, in full, one (1) week prior to time of service.  

• Failure to pay before date of the service agreement can result in forfeiture of services and deposit.

Rental Policy

• BCFI rents space only to individuals and organizations engaged in activities consistent with our goals and mission.

• BCFI facilities are available without regard to, race, gender, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation.

• All groups using BCFI facilities must complete and submit attendance verification as provided by the administration.

• Refunds are available only if the building closes on the day your program or event is scheduled, and only at the discretion of the Executive Director.

*BCFI reserves the right to adjust room rates as needed with 1 week advance notice.

I, the undersigned, have read, understand, and agree to all terms of this rental contract.   I have agreed to the cost for the service, and have placed my deposit accordingly.   If, as a non-profit organization, I have not been charged for services, I continue to agree to remain financially responsible for any damage that occurs on the BCFI premises during the use of the facility due to my use or by a member of my party or organization.
